REBAVA is honored to be a ChildSafe business supporter. This is a role we don't take lightly. We're in the business of creating a better world one trip at a time & our support of the ChildSafe movement is one very tangible way to do it. By the end of their REBAVA venture, our students not only know what it means to be a ChildSafe traveler, volunteer & citizen - they've experienced it firsthand. Once home, they're far better equipped to make a positive impact in the world & we're confident they'll do it.
ChildSafe is a Movement actively protecting children & youth, involving everyone, everywhere. Millions of children are pushed onto the margins of society or are facing many different kind of abuses around the world. They are exposed to mistreatment, violence or exploitation & often adopt risky behaviors to survive. Since 2005, ChildSafe has advocated for child protection policies & practices, in line with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. They provide the highest standards of protection to children & youth by delivering concrete measures & advice to individuals, businesses, governmental & non-governmental organizations. They've also developed creative & innovative programs, undertaking vigorous awareness-raising activities & encouraging behavioral change.
